2 years since we’re back. an ex-ofw change
Today is our second 12 months anniversary in the Philippines. Just How are we doing? Just What changed? Anything we miss? Anything I regret?
I gave an up-date a few weeks as you can imagine, sobrang sariwa pa namin dyan after we landed (Read Here), but. It can be read by you first before continuing para hindi ka ma-confused. Continue! I’ll wait….
Done? Okay, let’s carry on.
You’ll that is amazing lots of things t k place in that 2 years therefore allow me to you will need to categorized things so you won’t be confused (and me personally, t !)
KIDS
I enrolled my young ones in a conventional sch l during our very first year. That they had large amount of modification with Filipino and AP subjects. We genuinely didn’t have any basic idea kung paano nakapasa si Cole sa Filipino. We read their classes and there was no real means they can comprehend them by himself. Knowing him though, he won’t say such a thing.
Apart from the fact he originated from a British curriculum and it’s an entirely various style right here. Masyadong focus ang mga bata dito to memorize things, and madaming quizzes and research (really, konti pa nga daw yung homeworks and jobs sa sch l mga that is ng ko compared sa other sch ls). I never expected high grades from him and he didn’t get high grades that was fine by me at the least he passed.
It had been the thing that is same my daughter who does not talk Tagalog until now. Well, she can understand conversational Tagalog but won’t speak the language except the expression вЂeh†(we don’t want eh!) and kanina which she uses even though she meant something that happened last year. I had a need to tell her that kanina means previously. If it absolutely was a week ago or last year then just say it in English because all of us get confused.
Although, both of those said that they ch se studying here. They skip everything in Dubai except college. They actually didn’t enjoy the lessons that are arabic.
In addition they produced range of items to once eat and do we go back to Dubai for vacations. We vow them that individuals will visit once we’re able. Demonstrably, kelangan pag-ipunan din.
I decided na i-homesch l sila for SY 2020-2021 as you know, Covid-19 started last year so Gibson and. It absolutely was something I truly wished to do for way t long but I became frightened na ko kaya that is hindi. As it turned out, hindi ko pala talaga kaya! HAHAHA.
Seriously however, the freedom is loved by me it offers us. We can get anywhere and adjust the institution timing kung that is depende lakad kami or wala. But I can’t homesch l both my children while doing this things that are many well. I’m bad.
So next sch l 12 months, Biel will return to her old-fashioned sch l albeit online but Cole will stay homesch led. He’s an incoming Grade 10 and we don’t desire to move him anywhere due to the fact by Grade 11, inshallah, he is able to be accepted sa educational sch l na gusto nya for university.
We also had dogs as animals and they’re among the reasons kaya love nila residing in Pinas. We never really had dogs whenever we had been in Dubai because we inhabit a flat with other extensive loved ones. Masyadong complicated. Nevertheless now we have 2 (we had 3 pero nga that is na-dead si Oreo) and we’re adopting another puppy in a couple weeks. Excited na naman mga kiddos.
HOME
Since Covid began, we asked Ate A to stopped coming to clean the house. Mataas kasi cases sa area kung saan sya nakatira so we don’t wish to risk it. Subsequently, I became 100% in-charge of the household. I’m now the appointed House CEO. Amazing, right? LOL
We can’t think I’m able to take action considering na hindi nga ako marunong mag operate ng automatic washing device once I was in Dubai. We constantly had help when we were in UAE. Really, kaya ko naman pala. And you know very well what, if there’s something na lalo ako nacha-challenge is when somebody state na ko kaya that is hindi.
Lots of my loved ones users thought na hindi ko kaya mag-manage ng household but well, nasa kin ang huling halakhak. haha Admittedly though, i might just speed myself 85 – 90 siguro. I enjoy c king and laundry, but I never do sweeping, mopping, or dusting. We allow other members of our household (aka Gibson as well as the young ones) to complete them. Well, galaw-galaw din sila noh.
Do you know that I discovered and discovered so tricks that are many ideas to make my life easier?
- Mr. Muscle mildew and mold can remove yung mga really anik anik sa toilet without scrubbing. Amazing!
- Pare-pareho lang ang dishwashing fluid. Wag na maarte brand that is sa.
- Irish Spring detergent bar could http://datingmentor.org/nl/dating4disabled-overzicht/ make the toilet/r m smells g d. Ang tanong lang is saan mo itatago na hindi magagamit.
- A f d that is microwavable can save you time of cleansing the microwave. Kesa tumatalsik talsik ang f d habang iniinit, cover it na lang and voila!
I’ll add it here kung meron pa ko maalala..
PERSONAL
2 freaking years! Ang daming pwedeng mangyari in two years diba? And yes, madami talagang nangyari… We welcomed brand new babies in the household. I have 3 brand new nieces and nephew all created during the pandemic. Many Thanks Jesus hindi sila pinangalanan na Covid Rose or Michael Corona.
My mother celebrated her 68th birthday and first time nya naka-receive ng money cake and cash bouquet. Napa sana-all ang madami.
Thank God for my mother at lagi nya ko pinapadalan ayuda that is ng. Love you mother!
Speaking of moms, final September, my MIL passed on. It had been therefore unexpected and sudden. It absolutely was heartbreaking to say the least. And you understand what, that cemented my belief that our go back to the Philippines is never an error. The fact with her and the kids enjoying their grandma more are something that we will cherish forever that we were able to spend a year. Every thing happens for the reason. You’re always where you’re allowed to be. I must say I think that.
